Nahom in The Book of Mormon

A lot of Christians have had life after life experiences where they were either told or were led to believe, that they had a previous existence before Earth. Mormons, as far as I know, are the only ones who teach this as part of their doctrine. This Nahom thing is significant not only because it exists, but because until 1996, no one knew it was a burial site. It's a direct hit for the Book of Mormon and is impressive.

There is no way Joseph Smith could have known Geography in his day like this either. Khor Rori of Oman is the only green spot on the entire Saudi Arabian peninsula, and not to mention is almost directly east of NHM (Nahum). Khor Rori also has natural fruits and the honeycomb from bees is still found there today. Another direct hit for the BoM!
Great video FAIR.

My Name is Nahom seriously !

One of the many finds backing the Book of Mormon. Nahom wasn't even found until 1994. Joseph Smith had no way of knowing about this place let alone knowing it being a burial ground. It's only spelled currently as "Nehem" because it was found "NHM" and so it would look like it should be pronounced "Nehem".

@ChildePC And redo the dna test that basically sank the history to the book of mormon people.
-
@ChildePC Yes, but for me its like stating the mosco or bizmark or prague is in united states. All 3 are but there else where too. Nahom could have been in china or africa or even austrial we just don't look there. So defining a place is not enough. Now I do like the bountiful idea considering ever other thing is there medal, trees, gold and so much more. what I am getting at is MORE needs to have been said about nahom for me to believe thats the spot. IF YOU FIND SARAH, we can to a dna test...

@ChildePC It doesn't matter. Nahom does exist exactly where the Book of Mormon said it would be.

Contrary to the world’s secular teaching, the scriptures teach us that we do have agency, and our righteous exercise of agency always makes a difference in the opportunities we have and our ability to act upon them and progress eternally.
-
They convince themselves that there is no “opposition in all things” 18 and, therefore, “whatsoever a man [does is] no crime.” 19 This “destroy[s] the wisdom of God and his eternal purposes.
-
The world teaches many falsehoods about agency. Many think we should “eat, drink, and be merry; … and if it so be that we are guilty, God will beat us with a few stripes, and at last we shall be saved.” 17 Others embrace secularism and deny God.

@ChildePC "the pioneer tradition"
I am NOT sure what that exactly entails to you, do you care to elaborate?
Got any Hugh Nibly? thanks

@mikeedro No Nibley. Because of copyright issues, we have not uploaded any of his material. But, if you do a search for "Hugh Nibley", there are quite a few videos that pop up.

Here is my issue with this. WE KNOW, That there are other israelites in saudi arbia. Yet, nephi never mentions them once. Nor is there any mention of any people ever seen or encountered. It becomes a long boring trail to bountiful. You can't tell me that they hide along the way, and avoideds trading. IT'S IMMPOSSIBLE.

@ChildePC I believe there was plenty of contact between the Lehites and others in Arabia, as well as others in the New World. But The Book of Mormon is a spiritual record to bring people closer to Christ, and does not always contain little bits of information that they may have seemed to be obvious.
