  • Italo-Australians wouldn't have a clue where their parents descend from, let alone have knowledge of the birth of the Italian nation. Most of them can not utter a word in Italian and when they do It is highly embrassing to native Italian speakers.

  • i think the ball has been dropped in trying to instile a sense of Italy in this generation of Italo Australians, as unfortunatly i dont know of any that can speak a little Italian let alone converse with a first generation grand parent to find out whayt it was like for them in the early days.......we have a precious culture and we should treat it like like the treasure it is......
