http://blog.stonebrew.com/?p=3205 Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA was created as an homage to the almighty hop. As the celebrated Stone Ruination IPA approached its 10th birthday, we knew we had to do something special, so we cranked the abv up from 7.7% to 10.8% and used twice as much hops--a whopping 5 pounds per barrel, including a pound each of Citra and Centennial in the dry hop. The results were GLORIOUS, but don't take our word for it. The only people more bitter than those who don't get any... will be those who do.

Will this beer be available again anytime soon? 4 packs would be nice. If not the 10th Anniversary how about a double dry hopped Ruination? again, 4 packs would be nice for the hop addicts on the east coast.

A second Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA. Sounds odd in theory - I mean, what would we call it? Eleventh? Tenth Plus One? Tenth Part Two? Hmmm...we just might have to figure this one out.

It's unfortunate Stone Brewery lost a costumer over a political matter. The good thing for them is that they don't really give a fuck.

I had it .. a bit unbalanced compared to std. Ruination. Unfortunately, I won't be drinking any more Stone brews, since you revealed in a Facebook posting your liberal left-wing bias. I've related this to all my conservative friends, and none of us are buying Stone any more. Oh well, perhaps you feel you're so popular that you don't need conservatives as fans any more ... might be true, given your location in liberal California.

    10.8% ABV!? o.0

Sit down when you drink it...

How does this compare to the regular Ruination, in terms of flavor?

This beer is amazing. I'm so glad we just got this in Louisiana. Stone, my hat is off to you. You made one of the best beers I've ever had.
