  • If that doesn't get your blood racing nothing ever will

  • @liamobrien06 yeah he really does ;)

  • @fixuplooksharp66 ah i think this year was a perfect way for both of them to sign off they havent anymore to give well maybe denman but neither owes anyone anything it was terrible to see a great champion like kauto when he ran at punchestown clive sith needs to cop on to himself.

  • @vixitrixalina the old guard delivered! kauto at his prime would have matched or even beaten long run over the last furlong, his age has taken away that ability to kick for home. denman really did live up his "tank" nickname again, so consistent on the GC! would love to see them back again next year for one last hurrah

  • @fixuplooksharp66 oh yes, he galloped his heart out yesterday, made a lot of the running too! coming around the final bend, i thought "oh god, he might actually do it!" he seemed to be going strongest, Long Run was just in behind he pushed and shoved and Denman was under pressure on the outside, but he just got tired over those last two fences.. couldn't have tried harder though! and Denman - what a race he ran! he lights up at cheltenham, 2nd x3!!

  • @vixitrixalina your worries were unwarranted! kauto and everyone associated can be proud :)

  • i'm excited and nervous for this years Gold Cup. anyone know where to find the 2009 GC video? I never find it anywhere... I'm nervous that Kauto will prove that the tabloids are right, that he's too old. to be fair, Denman is also 11 and IC is 10, it's not like Kauto is the grandad of the field! but I'm still nervous... it's the festivals 100th birthday this year, and probs Kautos last attempt - what a fairytale ending that would be, if he re-regained his crown? (plus his bday is on saturday!)

  • brillant vid:)

  • Awesome. Fact

  • A.P.'s ride on Wichita Lineman was probably the best Ive ever seen. How many other jockeys would've persevered? Unreal. As is the nature of the beast, very sad what happened to Wichita, never did anything in a hurry, but he was genuine, and we'd all love to own one like him. R.I.P.
