  • A great little snippet from a great movie. Harvey Pekar was really something special. Life can be tough, but the way Pekar stuck at it for year after year is an inspiration. He made a difference. RIP.

  • Wow..Im heading in the same direction because that's the way I feel. But, like he said...you got to keep going. RIP Harvey

  • His honesty and straightforwardness made his work a hundred times better than any of that superhero crap. I can honestly say that reading American Splendor changed the way I look at life.

  • I can totally relate to this part of the movie. I live it everyday

  • I bought and purchased Jenny Gerhart right after watching this film. It's such a moving novel. It became one of my favorites. I completely understood Pekar's loneliness.

  • one of the best filmages in ze world, because it's unique, it's personal, it's a harvey pekar spectacular!

  • This is the feeling of Fall in Cleveland, Ohio for a young single man. Just keep on working and somethings bound to turn up. :\

  • Wow...now this scene almost makes me cry. Rest in Peace, Harvey. I think maybe you wanted the time off.

  • clearing gutters, getting by, looking ahead to the day you die. RIP Harvey,

  • R.I.P. This puts life in perspective.
