If the President approves the Keystone Pipeline XL, I WILL go to DC to protest it. This is just too important not to voice opposition. I dream of a better future for our children. I want the US government and people to invest in renewable wind and solar energy and diversified sustainable (non fossil fuels dependent) agriculture rather than this destructive Pipeline.

Unfortunately, when the GOP says jump, Obama asks "how high?"... he wants to please everybody equally but that's not what the President's job is... you were voted in by a majority that thought you would keep your promises, and so far your progress on climate change is weak at best. I just hope that oil prices jump up again. 5-6 dollars per gallon would be good. I know it sounds mean but prices are the only thing this country understands. That will get us serious about getting off oil.

@shelley- that wouldnt make a difference. Sure obama is a father but his kids enjoy special status and will be least affected by climate change consequences, so he isnt that bothered. If he was a common man perhaps he would see things from a different perspective.

It is such a disappointment that the Obama Administration is apparently pushing for the expansion of the fossil-fuel industry.

Here is someone we should actually take notice of, thank you for your energy and dedication to slowing the decline of the ecosystem.

When it finally is understood that the tipping point has been reached, I doubt that anybody who understands what is happening will not realy want to do anything but live for the day and forget the future.

Because there will be none
