I play this as well. I have earlier only listened to Radu Lupu, who follows Schuberts indications very faithfully, as does Brendel, but they are very different. Lupu is less daring and more subtle than Brendel, but I like both of them. I don't use pedal until 0:26 and then only for a few bars (off and on until 0:35) and again 1:02 off and on.

@Y3n26 what I do is half pedal and "punch" the left hand notes... That sounds kind of like what Brendel does especially when the main theme repeats ( forte)

Do we use pedal starting from 0:36?since left hand is playing staccato.
