@james25313 yes it will work if they reformat and reinstall the OS, but not if they replace the HDD

@schilla11 it does not work if they format the hdd and reinstall a OS or change the HDD. u just got to hope the thief is not that smart. most thieves are not that smart.... but their is a more secure program where it doesn't matter if their HDD gets reformatted or replace its by lowjack but its not free tho
