I'm a Cisco guy, and I can clearly say that Juniper has higher availability and reliability.
I don't focus much on bandwidth because my employer's network is not so bandwidth hangry yet.

Sorry, but it is true. I hold two CCIE's, one if Routing and Switching and the other in Security. Juniper runs circles around Cisco with the SRX and EX line products. I am replacing all of our Cisco 2800 and 3800 routers with SRX's. Router and full blown firewall/VPN in the same box. Its a no brainer. I am not affiliated with this company at all either.

Cisco is so much better than Juniper everybody knows that. throughput is not everything in a network.
