http://www.OptimizingTheWeb.com - I think that Twitter is a lot different from other social networks. I think that the rules are a little bit different because of the real time interaction. Twitter is a social network based on human-like behavior. And that is why I think that the recent wave of broadcasters creates non-value. I don't want to see the same article tweeted in the same way a hundred times. But I would love to see the same link tweeted a thousand times but with a personal touch or a personal idea or opinion or thought: something that could generate a discussion.
I encourage all Twitter users to look at how Chris Brogan is using Twitter: every tweet of his is an invitation to engagement and communication.
Many people think that the phrase "provide value" means to tweet links to quality articles. I think it means to provide quality opinions on quality articles.
Twitter broadcaster: a person that tweet anything (it can also be links to quality articles) but who doesn't seek engagement.
