This video has been reloaded as the sound had disappeared. Please see the reloaded one.

In the 1920s Nikolai Kondratieff reported a cycle in prices that averaged 54 years. There are depressions and booms in this cycle which is also connected to wars and the birth rate. Ray Tomes proposes an explanation for the cause of this cycle also sometimes called the K-wave or long wave cycle.

The darn phone rang before I finished ... such is life.

There is an interdisciplinary cycles discussion forum open to all people to search and read, and people can join to participate, at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/cyclesi/

  • No sound on this and low sound on the alternative.

I heard about the baby boom cycle some time ago. Interesting. Burt what to do about it? Is it just something for Bankers and Insurers to profit from?

  • @Weatherlawyer Sorry about sound.

Well, people need to learn to not have so many babies just because everyone else is. Good economy now does not mean good economy when your kids get older.

  • Unfortunately the sound is totally gone. I love your videos though! Keep it up!

  • The correlative economic cycles per Kondreatieff and Torah with a demographic analysis shows the a populations progressive influence in Long Waves. PROPS ARTYNZ. I would love to see further development on the characteristically of these related cycles against communication.

  • This video has very choppy playback.
