Basically he's like joe rogan if you think about it they both talk with the same enthusiasm and charisma and you listen to those guys because they really believe in what they talk about. Then when you think about it you start to believe what they think also so it all comes together for a perfect podcast between these two.

Joe really needs to have Dan back on, not only do the audiences overlap but they bounce ideas off each other so well.
Joe keeps mentioning which episode of hardcore history he listened to in the podcast so he's clearly a fan.

This is my first introduction to Dan Carlin. He has an awesome natural rhythm when he talks. His sentences come in waves w/ hesitated pauses and emphasis. I'm definitely going to check out Hardcore History. Great podcast, Joe!

He also has a podcast called Common Sense. It's more about current events...though he ties in history as well. It's excellent. Highly recommend both podcasts.
