Taken from a series called "Great Modern Writers", this playful documentary introduces James Joyce's most famous work "Ulysses". It includes fantastic adaptations to film from passages of the novel. It also includes excerpts from a book written by Joyce's friend, the artist Frank Budgen, entitled "James Joyce and the making of Ulysses". Amongst those interviewed is author Anthony Burgess.

  • If Ulysses is an epic of the body then there must be a chapter devoted somewhere to Stephen's awesome mullet.

  • @neils0501 hahahahaha.... Hilarious.....

  • No Lynch there, which is slightly amiss... at least to those who have read Portrait.

  • A wonderful rendering of Circe. All the dramatisations highlight the humour perfectly.

  • Where's part 8?...thanks for posting. I really appreciate this!
