Friends in the Community - Friendship Circle of MetroWest

Friendship Circle video presentation describing "Friends in the Community", an innovative program that helps teens with special needs integrate with the general public through job and life-skills training.

This video was originally shown at the 2011 Friendship Circle annual Banquet at NJPAC.

The Friendship Circle, a project of Chabad Lubavitch, extends a helping hand to families who have children and teens with special needs and involves them in a full range of Jewish, social and recreational experiences, while providing much needed respite for their families. By pairing teen volunteers and children with special needs, a unique friendship is built where everybody benefits.
