    I hope you do realize that most students nowadays are being taught waterfall (1st year projects), RUP and Agile (both 2nd year). If someone is proficient in Agile, doesn't mean they lack the knowledge of the other methodologies.

    The problem with Agile, and I'll readily admit that, is that it's become a fad and everyone prides on 'being Agile'. When you're not working on something customer or front-end related, Agile is not necessarily the best. Sometimes it's even the worst.
