  • so when on a trail are you going to grind your frame??

  • carbon is only stronger than steel in its performance envelope which is extremely narrow, steel will outlasts carbon many times over.

    Titanium is the best material for a bike frame as it has no fatigue ever in its performance range which is wider than all metals, Aluminum will fail due to stress and even just age in spite of non use, Aluminum is JUNK.

  • Haha you have exactly no idea what your doing.. your putting forces on a frame that would never appear when your riding the bike.. carbon is much much stronger and stiffer than alu and steel you just suck at testing

  • As far as road bikes go I'd have carbon for racing, titanium for training and steel for touring.
