First thing is first, you'll need a program to run your bot under; if you can't programme it yourself you can download much free software.
I am building a ChatBot using a language called AIML which stand for Artifical Intelligence Manual Language, look for ALICE in Google and I'm sure you'll find something.
I'm currently developing my own code called JWSP (my initials), and its like AIML much more advanced with more options.
