Upper Big Tujunga Creek has been a playground for hikers, fishermen, campers and others for decades. However, in drought years the creek can cease flow and force outdoor lovers elsewhere. In 2011, that wasn't the case. Nonetheless, with many closures still in effect crowds were slim. Those familiar with the canyon are sure to see changes with the creek this spring, as winter flows changed the course of the stream and moved log jams. The downfall: the mass tagging still blankets the rock and trash and broken bottles plague the upper stretch, closest to the road. Nonetheless, wonderful and inviting pools remain!
can you give me directions there?
