Hey Steve, I'm Kenny from New Orleans and I'm 53 and grew up on Hendrix. I also play some too. I'm glad to see you doing for Jimi what SRV did for all old school bluesmen. You got me by surprise. I work in the stage and motion pic industry and I can see you doing live shows in Vegas as a very doable gig. I lost my 59 strat hard tail to hurricane Katrina but bought another one. A remarkable job covering an absolutely remarkable tune. You did a great job of alternating the chord inversions/rhythms that Jimi layered in the studio version during the chorus. The tone was good too...... Way to go!
