Meet Bella Browne members Sal'Vances, Amanda, Marshe, and K'Nesha
The hottest urban pop group, Bella Browne, has emerged on the scene and is here to stay. The dynamic female group is comprised of Amanda Ward (15), Marshe Morton (17), Knesha Howard (18) and Salvances Torres (17). The group was discovered by Monyee Stokes and is currently signed to Stokes I AM Entertainment music management and production company. Since Bella Brownes emergence no one can get enough of their eclectic beats and soulful sounds. The girls are currently gearing up for their debut single Leave Him Alone, written and produced by Dani Wright and long time producer Brandon Howard. Brandon has worked with renowned artists such as, Michael Jackson, Missy Elliot, Neyo, and Marques Houston. Dani Wright is also known for her song featured on Danity Kanes latest album Welcome to the Dollhouse. The young ladies of Bella Browne hail from all over the United States and believe that divine intervention brought them all together. I AM Entertainments Chief Executive Officer Monyee Stokes says, I chose the name Bella Browne because they are four beautiful, brown and talented females and I wanted a name that described them to the fullest. They all have different characteristics that they bring to the table. Amanda is the wild one, Marshe is laid back and easy going, while Knesha is the mother of the group and makes sure all the girls are comfortable. Belle Browne has brought back the meaning of Real Music to their upcoming single and album.
The youngest member of the group Amanda Ward holds nothing back when it comes to performing in front of a crowd. Her age is not to be mistaken for lack of experience and she holds her own weight as the lead singer of the group. Amanda was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Los Angeles when she was four years old. It was here in Los Angeles where she began singing in the choir at church and developing her love for singing and entertaining. I chose entertaining as a career because its something I enjoy doing more than anything else in the world and its the best thing I can do. I believe its what Im supposed to do, says Amanda.
The oldest member of the foursome, Knesha Howard, is not only original because of her name, but her unique song writing abilities as well. Knesha, a Los Angeles native, was discovered by Stokes after being referred from her performance in Atlanta for several shows including one for known Gospel artist Canton Jones. Ms. Howards has a couple role models including Beyonce and Janet Jackson.
Salvances Tores, who is familiar to Hollywood, studied at the Hollywood Pop Academy. Attending this school was an accomplishment and also where Salvances got her profession vocal training. She has worked with several coaches including Steve Russell from the original group Troop. She has had a standing ovation at the Hollywood Kodak Theatre and looks forward to the groups synergy in music. In the future, she plans on producing future albums for the group.
Seventeen year old Marshe Morton has been described as the most modest of the trio. Marshe was born and raised in the Inland Empire and is proud to be from her hometown. Her greatest music influences include: Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Jill Scott, Common, Jay-Z, Keyshia Cole, and Alicia Keys. Marshe believes that being raised within the entertainment industry gives her the advantage over other aspiring young artists. The fact that I was raised around family and friends in the entertainment field have helped to shape me into an entertainer, says Marshe.
The promising triumvirate is looking forward to completing their first album this summer and will shoot their first music video for the hot single Leave Him Alone this fall.
