SNES Challenge 2011 Round 3 - Kirby's Dream Land 3

This is the third round of the 2011 SNES Challenge at www.sydlexia.com. The challenge was to beat every boss in the Boss Butch as fast as possible.

Lavalarva won this challenge, defeating all the bosses in a mere 8:55.

@MasterKnightDH #4 was because I tried to have Kirby run and jump on the wall to hit Dedede from behind. But I jumped too soon. I tapped right twice, but this game has stiff controls so running is actually "mash the button until Kirby actually runs".

Also, no point giving a damn about health in a speedrun until you have like 2 left. I let Dedede swallow me because it's quicker. Probably.

Hits:

#1 - speedrun induced. I'll let it slide.

#2 and #3 - King Dedede's inhale attack is indeed obnoxious.

#4 - careless handling of Dedede's second phase attack

#5 - yeah, Dark Matter can put himself in a cheap position like that.

#6 - speedrun, but if you want to know how to dodge that attack reliably, just pay close attention to DM. The attack is telegraphed by DM shaking.

#7 - speedrun; for that attack, fly to where DM will not fly, so that the discs don't hit you as much

#8 - same as #6
