Don't worry, this is far from what it sounds like:

Birdman tried to get Jay to sign with him before the deal with Roc, said that he would double any offer anyone was making, but Jay refused and told him that he wouldn't sign just on the principle of the matter, and that he didn't like what their music stood for. I'm sure this chatter was just Jay trying to soften the blow, and it will amount to nothing.
