They weren't there to "watch" you and keep you out of any where you defect, they were there to stop the 100 or so violent people that were using a peaceful & leagle march as cover to cause damage to the city and to keep the "leagle" march on its permited path so marcher weren't run over by cars & people not in the mach could get to work & home. Cops are there for your protection, I hope u need 1 1 day but they don't come.

I hope you'll listen to me earnestly when I assure you that hate and violence are not the aims of the anarchist movement. But also, I retort: You said several times that you hate other people, including so- called hippies. Can I just ask you what good hating them will do for your cause? Would it not be preferable to love them, and prove to them that not all cops are violent hate- mongers? Just a thought
