(***SPOILERS IN VIDEO***)

This is Jeffster!'s third performance in the US action-comedy drama, Chuck. Jeffster is made up of band members and fellow BuyMorians, Jeff and Lester, two of the Nerd Herd employees.
The song is a cover of "Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Lester is the lead singer in the two-man band. He has written dozens of pop songs as well as "Virus/rebuild," an experimental symphony for monophonic synthesizer. His stylistic influences include Morrisey, Kurt Cobain, Bon Scott, Billy Joel, and Madonna.

Jeff is the band's keyboardist, composer, rhythm section, and sound technician. Jeff's interest in music began as a child when he first heard Jethro Tull's Acqualung (on vinyl of course). After showing great promise as a vibraphone player in his high school's jazz ensemble, he went on to play in a variety of rock 'n' roll bands; Jeffster! is his current project. He claims as influences Herbie Hancock, Greg Rollie, Rick Wakeman, and John Cage.

  • Remember this was the directorial debut of Zach Levi (Chuck), and he made a scene, nay an episode, that just may be perfect.

  • @HollowAvarice Aye, definitely agree with this episode being, at least, close to perfect.

However, really, this isn't Zachary's debut at directing.

Unfortunately, I can't find the video to show you, as I was looking for it myself on the weekend, to no avail, but, as part of some sort of "good citizen" scheme by NBC, Zach and a few other NBC stars directed short movies highlighting different ways of being a good citizen.

It starred himself and Arnold Vosloo/The Mummy/Vincent from season two.

  • I just read in the latest Entertainment Weekly that Josh Schwartz said (and I'm paraphrasing) that while Chuck and Sarah will be together, they won't be living happily ever after just yet, because on the May 24th 2 hour finale we will find out that Chuck is keeping a big secret from Sarah that may cost him the thing that she loves most about him, his mind, and someone from Chuck's past will return to destroy his life in more ways than one.

  • @EarthShadowZ13 Probably best to mark this as a spoiler, if you can edit it still.

  • @EarthShadowZ13 If you can't just edit it (which it seems you can't - oh well), then there's nothing you can do.

Don't worry about it though - not too big a deal for me, but, as you might have seen, some people (as I've found when I've done it) really don't want anything revealed until they watch the episode though and get quite vocal if you do post something...

  • Jeffster always makes me smile. Scott and Vik are amazing as Jeff and Lester!

Thanks so much for posting. This went straight into my favorites.

  • Aye, awesome actors and characters. They better be playing again before the season is over (and again during the season finale).

Forget Chuck and Sarah being together at last - I won't be happy unless Chuck goes out with an hour long performance of Jeffster!

    And you're very welcome.
