does not work on XP/Vista? Lies. it installs and run perfectly on my XP SP3 without any changes (no Compatibility mode) but interesting that it works on Linux. I'll be trying that when y router works on it. stupid PCI netcard problems

Played on XP just a few min ago, so I confirm performance is fine.

MDK and MDK2 both work fine on XP. And I'm pretty sure Vista as well (at least in XP SP2 Compatibility Mode).

if wine gives you troubles you can purchase Cedega at as low as $45 and play more games at better rendering...

great. I'm buying new pc and im happy i could play some more on my ubuntu. Haven't used windows for 3 years ;)
Thanks for all those ubuntu videos, cheers mate.

MDK2 runs on XP.
SuperiorBeen: WINE is not an emulator, and OpenGL games for Windows run better on Linux with Wine than natively on Windows. Try running Prey with Wine.
-
Wine does not mean emulation. Any program that doesn't make system calls should run exactly as fast in WINE as it should in Windows
-
Yea its true that apps will run better in their native environment, but I had to point it out.
