And yes it will work on Windows too but you'll need the rtpMIDI driver.

There is a little lag but it's nothing that has ever bothered me.
You can't control the effects. The documentation of what's possible is in chapter 34 of your manual.

Hi, i have rme ufx and need a daw controller for the faders and knobs, i was thinking about using ipad as daw controller and i see it works with the faders but how is the latency does it goes smooth? and can you also use the ipad to rotate the knobs like in the eq, compressor, reverb fx section?
