@kruseman44 Markus Naslund did not die!!! he is very happy with his family in his native Sweden.

Good years back in early 2000's. Sedins are rockin' and Rollin now. Nazzy had a big impact on them. But Sundin and Samuellson put them over the top.
I cried so much when I saw this. Naslund was a hero and heros never die. He will be missed. He was much to young for this to happen. May he rest in peace.

The general consensus is that he'd go to an offensive powerhouse like Detroit or Pittsburgh..
Well what people need to realize is it's not about how offensive or defensive the team is, it's who Naslund will be playing with. Gomez/Drury will beat Jaffray/Moran anyday of the week. It's about having fun again for Naslund. Plus, would you rather we see him 4 times a year in Detroit?

Are you serious? Maybe his time was done, maybe he wasn't as productive as he used to be, but he was Vancouver's captain for so many years, he brought us many memories, and this is how you think of him? I bet when he was busting his ass out there putting up 100 points you were the first one to buy his jersey, the first one to jump to his defence. You can't blame a player for declining, you can't blame a player for making too much, it happens.
