Trexlertown Derby November 16 2008

10 minutes of Derby (some say Darby) from the turnaround. Strong WNW wind 15-30 mph. We are heading mostly due east in the vid.
Waterproof camera body gets a little foggy from the cold air and my hot head. Camera is a Helmet Hero Wide.

I did not notice any powerloss with the cam on my helmet. I'm sure it does affect aerodynamics, it is essentially a block that sits atop the head after all!

I've done some cyclocross racing with it on and had no problems.

silly question, but do you notice a difference in powerloss and speed due to the added wind resistance from the helmet cam?  I'm trying to mount one on my handlebar but there is a lot of vibration.

Great video. Best vid of the Derby I've seen. For people who don't realize it, these guys are flying, in the range of 35 mph.
