Max for live Binaural spatialiser (listen with headphones)

Human brain can locate the 3D sound source position from two signals (left and right ears), so theoretically we can simulate 3D sound positioning with headphone without the need of extra speakers. This technique is called binaural spatialisation. To simulate the 3D sound position, we have to know how the signal is modified from a particular 3D position to the input of our ears. To achieve this task, we measure some filters which are called HRTF (head related transfer function). These filters depends on the listener morphology and must be individualized for a convincing rendering.

I downloaded the zip file but there was no dll file in there? Isn't this a vst effect? and what about that pluggo runtime thing? I am not using Live.
