  • This is so clutch. Thanks! One of the best tutorials out there.

  • @ProjectWeekend yoooo just press command,k then it will pop up and go to the bottom right and go to learn mode and booom..your welcome,

like this people so people know

  • Hey great tutorial. I have a couple questions though. I've got all my faders and knobs assigned. I've also got the "Modes" assigned to there own button like you said. Change the Class to Mode Change, and select the wanted instrument. It changes the modes, in the controller assignment parameter but it doesn't actually change the instrument. I don't know what i'm doing wrong.

  • Dude you Rock!!!! Thanks for making this

  • HI everybody! Anyone have figure out any assignments for NI Battery! I have an Axiom and want to assign pads to battery for playing drum sounds!! pls help..very mice tutorial i have already assign everything!!!

  • first of all: thank you!

Everything works fine....except one not so tiny detail; is it normal that logic 9 keep 'forgetting' the controls I assigned everytime I restart the computer? They still there in the list of control assignment, they just don't work!

one last thing: everytime I open a new project I have to set the midi sync in logic to make it listen to my MPD...is it possible to save that setting? (this last one is a very minor issue anyway...)

  • Hey, great video! Can you tell me how to reverse an automation setting? I have assigned channel strip pan in logic to knob 1 on my Oxygen 8 and it always moves on it's own. So when I click on a track the pan on that track will move a few degrees to the left or right.

First I don't understand how to even select different parameters in quick access like volume and pan, it seems to just come up on pan when I open it up. Thanks

  • @ProjectWeekend

Hey if you go to your Logic Pro tab scroll to Preferences click on Automation at the bottom of the page Automation tab there is a learn button click that then click on the edit and it will be ready for the rest of the video.

  • Hello fellow Dave, great tutorial. What if you have multiple exs24's open and want to switch between them? And also can i save midi assignments? Every time I come back and load a previously used project all my assignments are gone.. which would be so annoying at a gig. Can anyone help me with this?
