i haven't been on here in forever so im gonna clear what i said up. I just said hs bands are more entertaining TO ME not that we have more skill. and i said the ones IVE seen not all college bands in general. just because i've seen crappy college bands doesn't make me wrong.

you also have to factor in crappy digital sound...you guys as musicians should know that the more times music is filtered along with ambient and white noise the worse the recording....I wouldn't go touting superiority of a high school bands, although there are some really really good ones....I congratulate you guys on having fun though, because that's what music is about, not just technicality.

I believe both the Bruin Band and I know for a fact that Cal band memorizes their music. Well, the bruin band only has two shows a season so it's understandable that they memorize their music. Cal Band has a new show every game and yet they still memorize their music. Please leave your plebian-like comments somewhere else. Especially if they're incorrect statements.
