In this video, I explore the ideas set forth by American pragmatist philosophers John Dewey, William James, and Cornell West. I explain America's rise to power in the world and the mess our government has gotten us in while they pursue their imperial conquest of the world. This is an accurate observation from an American citizen who is sick of America's stance on Foreign Policy. Why do we feel the need to police the world? These philosophers offer great ideas on how to fix this mess.

  • Excellent. Most videos like this on youtube appropriately get ignored because they're polemical and based on fallacies. Pragmatism is based on the effort to overcome fallacies and live out democracy as a philosophical and cultural lifestyle. This is equally relevant to any point in American history, but especially today, where fallacies allow indefinite filibustering and campaign distractions from administrators and politicians too short-sighted or greedy to listen to this kind of talk
