An extra 9 hours of tweaking and painstaking logic wiring turned "Boop!" into this.
This one needs a little explaining:
- The game randomly generates a time for the players to match on their clocks.
- The players control the hour and minute hands with the left and right analogue sticks. They race to match the time before their opponent. Whoever displays the correct time first gets 100 points, and a new time is generated.
- Matching a time when the purple powerup arrow is displayed will earn the player a random powerup to thwart their opponent.
- [MIRROR TIME] reflects the opponent's clock face, so they must display the reverse of the correct time to get the points (super tricky).
- [NO HANDS] makes the opponent's clock hands invisible so they can only judge by the digital readout at the bottom (very off-putting)
-First to 3000 wins.
(Note: I did intend to take out the score limit and make it a 3 min time limit instead, but even after deleting the score sensor, it's still killing the game at 3000. Weird)
I'll be uploading a video of the tricky logic and wire-fest needed to make all this work, and hopefully a 2 player match to show off the powerups if I ever find my other controller!
this is great

It's kind of cool. You should probably move it away from the floor of the level though. It will look better.
