Violence and ignorance will be the demise of America (religion being but one.)
-
Violence and ignorance among ourselves, under a cloak of guises
(religion being but one) will be what destroys America, not terrorists.
-
Let's not forget that incident which was profiled on that episode of "Bill Moyers' Journal" - the Unitarian Church shooting in Knoxville, Tennessee, on July 27, 2008.
Look it up on the 'net, and you'll find much more than you can imagine on the shooting.
Truth be told, the right should practice some restraint, as should the left. We should not be inciting trouble, neither right nor left.

It discriminates against people by dehumanizing them...exactly what Goebbels did for Hitler.
Nothing but Violence and Death has come out of it...you heard of the Holocaust?...

you need to be on medication before you hurt yourself or others.

typical far left wing propaganda. then again, it's bill moyers, what can you expect.
you want to have an open minded discussion about hate, lets have it. but please don't claim that a hack like bill moyers is mainstream, you only make yourself look bad.

The spirit of Joseph Goebbels is alive and well and living in the USA

You've seen it? Please elaborate. I personnaly I'm tired of bullies and cowards that attack a person and have nothing else to say. Please enlighten us on why this is "propaganda".

That is truly a well thought, and very well written point. I agree completely.
That is a very insightful and intelligent comment from your part. Thank you for contributing to our civil conversation. You are proving that fans of right wing radio are as full of irrational anger and rage as their talk show hosts. You are in essence proving Moyers' point. As far as propaganda, don't go further than the radio shows I assume you are a fan of.

No, I'm not willing to give up free speech, either. But we can and should shine a light on the darkness of big-biz media that are willing to give a platform to people like Rush who encourage hatred, just to make money. If enough people pressured the station owners and sponsors, the hatemongers would be off the air. And that's NOT about stifling free speech. Not everybody gets his own radio show. Why should scum like Rush get one?
