This lightning storm was fast moving and was completely past within a matter of several minutes. This video starts out with a clip that is 2 minutes of normal speed video of the falling rain part of the storm approaching. I caught a couple good strikes which are at roughly 0:45 seconds and 1:18. Then there is a clip (2:00) that is that same 2 minutes of video condensed down to roughly 12 seconds which I think gives a better idea how fast it was moving. Then there are several clips of lightning strikes that each have normal speed and then slow motion starting with one from another video of the same storm (2:12) and then the two strikes that are in the first clip at 2:29 and 2:41. All clips were taken at 720p/60fps.

  • @CrazyTaileZ Thanks much. I think when it comes to lightning it is as much a matter of luck as anything else. Things like being patient and keeping an eye out for approaching storms helps too tho.:)

  • Nice Catch! Love the time lapse effects that you add in your videos. Thumbs Up!
