you guys were incapable of making your own gods so you borrowed ours without our permission. it is called stealing.

Sorry Rose, you're wrong. First off you dont have nearly the power to limit God's wordlet alone be half of whathehas to say. I agree you may have the gift of teaching but it should not be as a senior pastor at a church. Genesis 3:16 the men do hold the power.

It's more about roles I believe. For a woman to lord over a man is contrary to the nature of the creation, which is the way the authors argue.

@ThusFar777 How are we called the opposite sex but we're equal? The Bible says we're not equal, common sense says we're not equal and even science says we're not equal. Gods has the right to declare who can serve in what, where and when. Give u a joke;"i really don't care, but if the Lord's word says no women Pastors, then no women pastors. @dfwism is there a biblical scripture to that explicity backs up the claim that abortion is wrong? No. But we come to that conviction based on several other passages that have been revealed explicitly. It is the same with equality of the sexes.

By the way- you guys are quoting scripture from the old testament, before Jesus came to redeem us from those customs. 1 Corinthians 14:34 is based on the context of the biblical times where there were women doing witchcraft and saying lies in the church. This does not apply to the modern days. Also a TITLE has nothing to do with teaching. This woman taught, just without the title. Does it embarrass men that much that women are called pastors? Men need to submit to Christ.

I agree with her. Whoever said that she has no verse to back her claim. Read the below. Jesus died so that man and woman can be freed from the LAW of sin. In the spirit, woman have freedom to be who God created her to be.

"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans viii. 2.
