  • Basically you would hit the hybrid like a fairway metal. The loft on the hybrid does matter but only for distance. If you want to hit the shot a little lower than normal I would play it further back in your stance which would create more of a decending blow. If you play it more forward in your stance you will create the sweeping shot which will create more height. I hope this helps you. Matt Schewe

  • You don't have to have a hybrid because the same strategy would apply to your 3 or 5 wood. Good luck, and have a great game.

  • So you hit that hybrid like a fairway metal?? Does it matter what the loft is on your hybrid as to whether you sweep vs compress?
