I'm surprised he thought Star Wars was serious. I actually refer to the wit used in Star Wars as "Artemis sarcasm" or "Artemis humour" because it resembles that of Atremis Fowl's so strongly. He must've not been paying much attention, only paying attention to the classic aspects of it. I think...I hope that if Mr. Colfer saw the prequels, he'd love Obi's sense of humour.
My two favourite things in the world: Artemis Fowl/Colfer's writing style and Star Wars.
He managed the IMPOSSIBLE by writing that book. But "things that can never possibly happen refuse to not happen as soon as possible", as he put it, so here we are with Mr. Colfer's greatest book yet(aside from maybe the first two AF's? It's matter of opinion. I love them both.), a product of that which he stated so clearly.
At First i was a bit weary, I'm a fan of Adams and Colfers, and while i love Colfers books, i was afraid of what approach he would take to reading this and after hearing this i think some of those fearful thoughts are definitely gone.

I can't wait for it to come out - Eoin Colfer has the totally right sense of humor to write Hitchhikers :)

I'm excited :)
I was worried a little in the beginning too, but I can't help but like Colfer and feel as though the book's going to be great.
