  • This is a mustang? Never saw on of this size before

  • Yes, he's from an area where a lot cavalary remounts were turned out. There are more sizeable mustangs there.

  • Gosh that's a long backed horse. But again, that's not "loading" that's leading a horse. He was very calm though.

  • What you probably don't know is that this is a wild mustang less than 30 days off the range at that time, and the FIRST time he'd seen a trailer other than flash loading at the holding facilities. Within a week, my husband could sit in the cab of his truck connected to the trailer and tell Amigo to load and he would - he was an awesome horse!

  • ok first thing...you dont want to turn your back to a horse that might spook...there is noo such thing as a bombproof horse. and the way the horse is swishing his tail he looks irritated..just in my oppinion....i wouldnt pull on the rope either cause iv done that and its stupid to do.anyways a postive comment...nice horse

  • Most of the calvery mounts were Morgan, which are not usually that tall either, guess some other breeds could of been turned out there as well over the years. Very nice looking horse.

  • All that proves is that you and your husband are very good to your animals. He loaded because your husband set him up for success. He was patient, kind, and leading - not forcing. He set that horse up to be a very trusting, safe mount. If only more people took the patient approach to training.

  • at 51 hes like wait let me tst it un un no grass not interested

  • VERY nicely done, quiet and uneventful, just the way it should be done!

Your horse is GORGEOUS by the way. Absolutely stunning. I can't help but envision him as a future dressage star... :)

  • wow thats a big boy
