HP Service Manager is based on Java, C++ and JavaScript and runs on Tomcat, Websphere, Weblogic and JBoss, and none of these technologies existed in 1981. Duh!

Fascinating video. I worked for Software Artistry when it was acquired by Tivoli/IBM, and then when the unit was purchased (and retired) by Peregrine. Was also there when the books were "Enron'd". I'm amazed at the ability of Service Desk to persist in the market. Heck, I even remember using PNMS (but not at all fondly). Did you know it was designed to run on an IBM mainframe (MVS) system in the 80's?
