@kirk0respite Ah, I mentioned this once, but do you remember the commercial where the kids were trying to find the combination to get the gun from the dad's safe, and one said "Try his birth date!",and bingo! Shows that you never know how smart the kids can be!

@MrCarl220 thats just iresponsable ownership. i think no one should have guns within the reach of children or visiable. if your not home and someone breaks in they could find the gun and use it them selvs. i think the only law should be they have to be locked in a safe. that way nobody can get there hands on it. yet there are easiley accesable safes because if there locked away you may not be able to defend yourself in time thats why i kep my safes near my bed couple numbers & good2go

Why do criminals carry guns? When a person deicide to commit a crime, they know that they have just put their life in je0pardy and their life could end. THEY made this choice for themselves. They KNOW their life could end.SO, they do everything they can to protect it and defend their life and will kill to get what they want. So, when a criminal decides to commit a crime, they are total resposable for the lost of life. Not the person that shoots them dead.

@MrCarl220 Yes, that is definitely a concern, irresponsible parenting, but there has been far more cases where having a gun could have saved someone's life. More kids die playing football than accidental shootings. Some people are so afraid of guns, yet we'll drive 60mph past oncoming traffic that is 4-6 feet away.

How can anyone argue with what Ted is saying? He's 100% right. Guns won't kill good people if good people have guns to defend themselves. Murdering is against the law, so law abiding citizens don't do it. Bad people do! Make guns unlawful, so law abiding citizens won't have any. Bad people will! Then the law abiding citizens can't defend their lives from the bad people.
