Description: Al (Ape Zanni) torturing the oft maligned, Westfield Les Paul Custom, after a moderate (by scottish standards)whisky and wine appreciation session. Subsequently new/old pickups were installed - Ibanez late 1970's Super70's.
Actually, we both really like this guitar. It was cheap as chips S/H, has a very nice action and was used to record -- in stock form -- all the tracks currently listed on myspace. Listen, this is a good guitar for the money, I have a 1980 Ibanez Artist AR50 sitting next to it, don't let snobs put you off - go try one in the shop. If you are short of funds, you could do a shitload worse. Want to hear more of it? Yes, it's true, it ain't the mutt's nutts, but neither is it a dog! Just make sure it is a E4500 you try and endevour to try it out in the shop first - like any guitar - if you can!.....................and have fun!

@cornflakesoats It's not really much more than a drunken jam session to be honest.

If I remember correctly (bit of a hazy episode), I had some bass lines recorded and let Al hear them. Think he listened to this one about twice, then played along to it, just making it up as he went.

I decided to film him on his second attempt and that's what this is - just us screwing around really. Think I wrote lyrics for it at a later date, but we've never done anything more with it.

i have a westfield strat it was £50 you cant go wrong it aint like my fender rory gallagher strat but they sound really go through my valve amp and a tube screamer you are away porbally one of the best buget guitars you can buy

This has the potential ability to be really quality guitar. your still getting a solid slab of mahogany for next to nothing so its gonna have pretty good sustain regardless.

Put some new tuners on it and slap in a set of Gibson Burstbuckers for £160 quid and you'll got a custom looking great sounding guitar you've paid less than 400 quid for.

The wine red E4500 is one of the most beautiful guitars ive ever seen. regardless of price.

as for the build quality it cant be any worse than gibson

I had a look at a few of these and they are an ok guitar especially for the money but in the end i went for a vintage v100 which i think is far better but costs a little more. damn good axe for the ££ tho.

My b day today, ive played guitar for.. 4-5 years now, im 16 and orderd this guitar. Wine red, e4500, its beautiful. Tried it 3 times at a guitar store before i bought, its brilliant as stock, not sure if i want to change a thing! :p nice playing btw, proves this guitar can do all sorts of genres (from metal to blues, to pop and all sorts)
