@jotunPIKK - i think most australians feel the same way as you. watching american media is an exercise in futility. why don't the citizens do something? they should make it easier for independant politicians to run. america is a huge mess and it's dragging the rest of the world down. these people are the least qualified to hold "super-power" status. Doesnt matter. The healthcare reform is dead on arrival in the Senate. Senate wont pass anything with abortion being paid for with tax dollars, and when it gets back to compromise with the house bill, the 30 liberals have indicated that they wont allow it to pass. The moderates wont let it pass with it in the house. So its pretty much dead over the infighting by liberal and moderate democrats! $1.2Trillion is outrageous for anything!
