Let us not forget our war veterans, and give them hope and support to carry on.

Brothers and Sisters in the Diaspora, 17 year ago after 30 years of struggle against all odds, Eritrea achieved Independence. Indeed it was the most memorable day for all Eritreans, because Eritreans for the first time we could identify with a country to call our own. We all cheered, rejoiced and danced in the street for several days and nights without ever considering the whereabouts of all of our disabled Eritrean war heroes and veterans.
