this is a 1946 dodge pickup which belongs to my father, he restored it in the early seventies in his high school auto shop class. The first song is Murder in the City by The Avett Brothers, and the second song is Blood Shot Bill by The Trappers.

The truck is pretty much bone stock, with the exception of the air cleaner and some of the interior knobs. The tires are old bias ply tires and do get square if it sits for long. Enjoy

  • this movie has the same effect on me as the notebook has on all women. makes me cry out of joy and fall in love with cars all over again and at the same time not happy with the one i have now. amazing video.

  • very nicely done!

  • Hey your pop dresses like mine, slacks and wingtips...this year Dodge will be my next project as soon as I get my 48' Plymouth done. Thanks for posting I enjoyed it.

  • Very Very nice. As I watched this beautiful truck in action I started to realize that things looked real familiar with the surroundings. Good old Bountiful Utah. I was born a raised in Bountiful. I have driven many of these same roads in my 1937 Diamond-T fire truck and my 1948 Power Wagon. Sweet camera work. Thanks for sharing!

  • How fast can this go?

  • Sounds cool, got any video of it?

  • Neat video, It really shows the great lines of the truck, Almost like were right there with you. I like the unique camera angles etc. Thanks for posting!
