hey guys ,

i have an AVET mxj 5:8 , its full of 360meter of 30lb braid , is 360 meter of braid is enough for jigging , and the max depth i jig at is 150 meter , so is it enough ?

and What if my rod is not that parabolic, i guess it is a lot stiffer, it's 130 Lbs Piece of shit not Marka.

I will jig in Alexandria, Egypt ; Mediterranean sea.

Do i need a Parabolic, stiff, or no matter.

Another thing, In the Leader, Should it always be a knot or can i use plit rings for easy handling sake.

those are samson fish. same relative to the amberjacks. in order of fighting strength i find it goes ambers<sambos<yellow tail king fish. but thats just how i reckon they fight.
