If you want luxury performance, its the caddy, but if its wild performance you are after, its not the car. But you just cant find the performance and aplomb together in one package as affordable as it. If you demand more all in one car, be prepared to pay double the caddy price. All in all, it does the job for which it was designed quite well. Its not purported to be able to do another job. But then neither do the other cars have the plushness or style of it.

Here you are comparing apples and oranges. The caddy is not supposed to compete with the mustangs, chargers, and corvettes. Its a gentlemans performance coupe, same as a mercedes 450. I had a 450 and corvette at the same time. Corvette was definitely faster, but didnt have the same ride and at speed was not nearly so comfortable as the mercedes. Mercedes would outrun a v8 mustang but not the racing engine ones. And it was not intended to.

thats not slow at all. not insanely fast but deff not slow. 75 to 85 when it shifts has a little slowness but a shift kit or tune will take that away
-
When will they put the LS6 in it????
-
@boychiks he has a civic lol
-
@boychiks keep ur v man. the zr1 is all plastic. this things got luxury.
-
THAT is fast

These are such beautiful cars. Why did it take GM so long to get around to making it? I'm worried about those lovable idiots.

People have to remember this car is fast, but you are paying for luxury. People tend to think that just because its expensive its suppose to be super fast. They ARE fast, but luxury and quality are the main components.

@boychiks It's a nice car but a tune couldn't get it into the 11's. Stock it runs a 13.1. With a tune it could maybe run a 12.5 at very best.
I have always liked the XLR and the XLR-V. It just seemed to always fall short for some reason or another. Not knocking this vid or being rude but in this vid the car looks awful slow.

Thanks for the comment.. No you are knocking on the video, thats what comments are for.
One, I really couldn't give it all it had, it was on a 45mph street.
I will say it is fast, and will throw you back. I know with a tune, it'll easily be in 11's. But for now, it really is just another "Sunday" car.
I'll try and shoot some 0- ?? videos .
Thanks again, please check out other vids ;)

Now'a days I reckon I would go for a ZR1 for the money, but I still like the XLR.

Man I'd love a ZR1, but $120k.. Maybe if I had the money.
The V's are being very unappreciated in the used market. You can easily pick up one in mid 40's
