@KeukaRyder I might do some planning vids, your costs per day sound similar to my US trip. I'm not sure what the costs per day will be, got to look into this. I was thinking of buying a used bike in the UK, interested in the BMW R1200GS and selling it at the end of the trip. You make a good point about some of these countries I will need to look into this. I do have a british passport which should make life easier.
Yeah it's going to be an amazing adventure, I say bring it on!!

@chochi70 Wowee zowee!! What a trip! You ought to do a video on the planning for the trip. Billmaa does those kinds of vids.
I ended up spending more than $70/day(gas,food,lodging) on my trip. Any idea of cost/day? Are you shipping your bike or renting? The video "Long Way Round" indicates getting into former Soviet Union countries can be hard. But, what an adventure before the world blows uo!

@KeukaRyder yeah exactly, this trip is subject to the financial markets picking up over the next 6-8 months.
I'm hoping your country holds it together lol The plan is to start in London then head through France to Portugul, through Italy to Palermo then back up through Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Albania to Greece then through Macedonia to Romania, Hungary, Austria Switzerland, through Germany to Amsterdam then back to London then a loop of England. 17 countries, 3 months and around 25,000 kms.

I completely forgot about the Hollywood sign when I was in LA. Glad you covered it!
Let me know when you're planning the cross europe ride so I can save my moneys.

@insomaniac52o I can help with that one for you. It's the outro of Epic by Faith No More. Great song.
Great navigating to get to the lookout and another great vid mate. I would hate to think how much moolah is tied up in the real estate you showed us there. Great views of that iconic sign. Cheers!!
