I am pleased to share this special video with the public because I have walked the walk of life as experienced Deaf individual. Eyes are my witness to everything Ive walked through. Seeing is believing is my all time favorite quote. I came to conclusion based on search for the meaning of my existence, extensive readings about individual rights such as our right to Life, Liberty and Property.
I impersonate myself as Mother Teresa because I always admired her since I was a little girl. My middle names like hers. I love children like she did. (but a nun? NO.. LOL) For 5 years as Child Protective Service worker, brought me a closeness to many little people who seemed to have innocent minds, filled of hopes and wishes. They touched my heart in many ways. I had conferred with childrens attorneys and did testify on their behalf. All of those enriched experiences got me delved into protecting childrens rights and their status of well-beings. I do agree that their mothers and fathers are entitled to having parental rights as long as they provide whats in the best interest of their Deaf children. Just dont forget that children do have the individual rights with the body of self-ownership. I firmly believe in encouraging their greatness of upward mobility through all sequential steps of searching for strengths, inner needs, meaningful existence, appropriate education, gainful self-independence with the supports of bi-lingual skills of English and American Sign Language.
This video contains a clear explanation of basic philosophy of Liberty. The force, fraud and threat must be discouraged. I welcomed 4 Deaf persons who agreed to express their experiences as a CI user, non-CI user, family experience and the words of wisdom. I hope this video will help to prepare all expectant parents or the ones who have Deaf babies that getting them a Cochlear Implant immediately is the wrong solution. Trust me. Deaf children cannot be fixed until the parents fully acknowledge that a child with CI will always be Deaf for lifetime. A child should be first informed of medical consent (age 12 or older) if he/she agrees to go for CI or not. The parents are solely responsible to protect their Deaf baby from doctors/medical providers' forces, aggression and invasion of the Deaf baby's little body of property. Taking away the baby's right to self-ownership is considered as a violation of their right to life, liberty and property. Being Deaf is not a matter of life or death thing. The research has proven that CI cannot help to cure their hearing loss. (Similar idea as brain transplant)
I highly recommend that all leaders, guidance, parents and advocates to please make Deaf children smart, loveable, and to enjoy the natures of mind, body and soul especially the freedom. Guide them to learning on how to use American Sign Language. ASL is the gateway to wider horizon of all learning stages. Support them to develop their own virtues. Expose them to the world diversity of interests such as Math, Science, Scuba Diving, Speech Therapy, Construction, you name it all. Just lend them your helping hand... By the time they get older with known identity You'd be pleased to see them going off as they start to walk the walk of beautiful life. What more is there to please? =D

Well I took the time to view this entire video, just to take in every thought. In the beginning, I too agree that performing and installing a CI into 9month year old children is a bit rash and sudden. During that time your child have a high sense of eye sight and motor skills, since noises are distracting the child. As they grow to be a mature enough age to comprehend basic body language, pictures, words to communicate with their parents then the idea of sound can be introduced to them
