@MagpieRising i googled the meaning and anthony green made a post about it on his facebook. and part of the lyrics

"i've been watching rose give in to it, severing the ties between mother and son"

he talks about his childhood when his mother was abusive towards him, also "i was only one and we weren't prepared for one before dreaming. i have your voice on tape in a southern accent screaming at me" he talks about having the proof that his mother was abusing him

@TKDmidgit this song is about child abuse. Anothony Green was really abused when he was growing up and in this song he talks about the abuse ruining his life and family relationships. it's very sad and touching. this is one of their best songs
